Research

Associate Professor at NUBS and Economic Networks lead in N/LAB at University of Nottingham. 

My research focuses on computational social science and using large-scale behavioural data sets to address social issues.  I hold a PhD in economic anthropology and have published on topics such as non-monetary exchange, altruism, sharing, network analysis, and the philosophy of social science.

Teaching

Teaching and PhD Supervision

I teach and supervise on a variety of postgraduate modules.  Historically my teaching has focused on subjects such as consumer behaviour, digital marketing, leading big data projects, and computational research methods.  

I'm available for PhD supervision.  If you would like to undertake a research project with me please do send a copy of your proposal.
